Looking out of the main entrance of Tashichhodzong:
Tashichhodzong is the administrative centre of Bhutan, with the Golden Throne Room, government offices, and the central monk body housed within its walls.
The view from the main entrance includes the Convention Centre, which houses the National Assembly hall and the office of the Prime Minister. Within the Dzongs grounds are the lawns and Maple and Dogwood, as well as two very beautiful flowering trees that flank the entrance.
These bi-colour flowering peach trees remain in blossom during mid-March to April, and add to the beauty of this important landmark of Thimphu.
